Disney+ is a popular streaming service that offers a wide range of movies and TV shows from the world of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. To enhance the viewing experience, Disney+ provides closed captions and subtitles in multiple languages. This article will guide you through the steps to turn Disney+ subtitles on or off while streaming movies and TV shows.

How to turn Disney+ subtitles on

1. Launch the Disney+ app on your device and select the movie or TV show you want to watch.

2. Click on the play button and let the video start playing.

3. Once the video starts playing, tap the screen once, and you will see various options, including the CC button located at the top-right corner of the screen.

4. Tap on the CC button to display the subtitles and closed captioning options.

5. Choose the subtitle language you prefer, and the subtitles will start displaying on the screen. The selected language will be shown on the CC button.

6. To adjust the subtitles’ font size, go to the settings option located under the CC button and choose the size you desire.

7. Once you have adjusted the font size, you can enjoy your movie or TV show with your desired subtitles.

How to turn Disney+ subtitles off

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
