If you’re an Android user and you’re not receiving texts from iPhones, don’t worry – there are several things you can do to fix the issue. Here are some ways to troubleshoot the problem:

1. Make sure your phone number is not blocked by the sender

Ask your iPhone friend to check if your phone number is blocked on their device. If it is, they can unblock your number by going to ‘Settings’-> ‘Messages’ -> ‘Blocked’ and then removing your number from the block list.

2. Update iOS version on the iPhone

If your friend’s iPhone is running an older iOS version, they may need to update it to the latest version to ensure compatibility with your Android device. Go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘General’ -> ‘Software Update’ on the iPhone to check for available updates.

3. Reset network settings on iPhone

Sometimes, issues with network settings can prevent messages from reaching your Android device. Ask your iPhone friend to reset network settings by going to ‘Settings’ -> ‘General’ -> ‘Reset’ -> ‘Reset Network Settings’.

4. Clear cache and data of messaging app on Android

If the issue persists, try clearing the cache and data of your messaging app on the Android device. Go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Apps’ -> ‘Messaging app’ -> ‘Storage’. Then, tap on ‘Clear Data’ and ‘Clear Cache’.

5. Disable iMessage on the iPhone

If your iPhone friend has previously used iMessage to communicate with you, this may be causing the problem. They can disable iMessage by going to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Messages’ -> ‘iMessage’ and turning it off.

6. Check message settings on Android

Make sure your messaging settings on your Android device are configured correctly. Go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Apps’ -> ‘Messaging app’ -> ‘Permissions’, and ensure that the app has permission to access your contacts and phone.

7. Contact Carrier Support

Finally, if the issue persists, contact your carrier support for further assistance. They may need to check your account settings or network connectivity to resolve the issue.

In conclusion, these are some ways to fix the issue when an Android isn’t receiving texts from iPhones. Try these steps and hopefully, the problem will be resolved.
