How to Fix It When There is No Sound on Fire Stick

The Amazon Fire Stick is a popular device that allows you to stream your favorite TV shows and movies on your TV. However, sometimes users may face issues where there is no sound coming from the Fire Stick. If you are experiencing the same issue, don’t worry – there are some simple steps you can take to fix it.

Here are some suggestions to help you troubleshoot the issue when there is no sound on Fire Stick:

  1. Check Your Connections

The first thing you need to do is check your connections. Make sure that your Fire Stick is properly plugged into your TV and that your TV speakers are turned on. Check all the connections between your TV, audio output, and Fire Stick.

  1. Restart Your Fire Stick

Another quick fix can be to reboot your Fire Stick. Simply unplug the Fire Stick from the power source and wait for 10-15 seconds then plug it back in. This will reset devices and fix any temporary issues.

  1. Adjust Audio Settings

Sometimes the audio settings on your Fire Stick may not be set up correctly, which can cause sound issues. You can fix this by going to the Fire Stick settings and adjusting the audio settings as required. Go to Settings > Display and Sound > Audio and change the audio output to your TV’s audio format.

  1. Check the Volume Settings

Check the volume settings on your Fire Stick remote. Sometimes users accidentally mute their devices or lower the volume, making it appear that there is no sound. Ensure that the volume on the remote is turned up and not muted.

  1. Test Audio on Different Devices

If the above steps don’t solve the issue, there may be a problem with your TV, audio system or HDMI cable – this will require further investigation. Try using the Fire Stick on a different TV to determine whether the issue is with your TV, audio system or Fire Stick. If the audio works fine on another TV, you may need to replace the audio system or HDMI cable.

In conclusion, when you are facing sound issues with Amazon Fire Stick, don’t panic. Instead, follow the above-mentioned steps to help resolve the issue. If none of these steps work, you can contact the Amazon support team for further assistance.
