The legendary duo, Simon & Garfunkel, have been making headlines recently for their reunion on stage, a rare occurrence after a long period of separation. Art Garfunkel, the iconic voice of the duo, has now spoken about the emotional impact of their recent reunion, revealing that it was a moment filled with tears and deep personal meaning.

Garfunkel shared that the reunion wasn’t solely about performing their iconic hits. “There were tears,” he said, adding, “It’s not just the music. It’s the life we shared, the triumphs, the failures, the laughter, the arguments – it’s all there.” He described the reunion as a “powerful moment” that served as a reminder of the bond they share, a bond that transcended their artistic partnership.

The pair’s recent performance was part of the “Homeward Bound” tour, where they came together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their landmark album “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” The tour, which started in April, is a testament to the enduring legacy of Simon & Garfunkel, a legacy that continues to inspire generations. While the reunion may have brought back a flood of emotions for both artists, Garfunkel’s words offer a glimpse into the deeper connection that fueled their creative partnership and the enduring power of their music.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
