‘Survivor’ Gets Early Launch, But CBS Moves The Rest Of Fall Premieres To Mid-October

Good news for fans of reality TV: the latest season of the popular CBS series “Survivor” is getting a head start on the fall season. However, the rest of the network’s fall premieres will be delayed until mid-October.
According to a recent report, the 41st season of “Survivor,” titled “Survivor 41,” will premiere on September 22, giving fans a chance to get their fix of the competition and drama before the rest of the fall lineup kicks off.
The early premiere is a surprise move by CBS, as the show typically premieres in mid-February. However, it’s likely that the network is trying to capitalize on the success of the show’s previous seasons, which have consistently drawn high ratings and a loyal fan base.
But don’t worry, “Survivor” fans won’t have to wait too long to get their fix of other CBS shows. The rest of the network’s fall premieres will debut on October 6, including the highly anticipated new series “Secrets of the Zoo: Tampa’s Wildlife Warriors” and “The Equalizer.”
The delay is likely due to the continued production challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, which have forced many TV shows to adjust their production schedules and premiere dates over the past year.
Despite the delay, CBS is still expected to have a robust fall lineup, with a number of new and returning shows set to debut. In addition to “Survivor,” “Secrets of the Zoo: Tampa’s Wildlife Warriors,” and “The Equalizer,” the network will also premiere the new series “Ghosts” and “United States of Al.”
“CBS is committed to bringing its viewers the best programming possible, and we believe that our fall lineup will continue to deliver on that promise,” said a network spokesperson.
With the early premiere of “Survivor” and the rest of the fall lineup shifting to mid-October, fans can look forward to a fun and exciting fall season on CBS.
