Introduction:

Staying connected with friends, family, or business partners in Dubai is easier than ever thanks to various modern communication technologies. When you want to make a call from the United Kingdom to Dubai, there are three simple and cost-effective ways to get your message across. In this article, we’ll provide a step-by-step guide on using these methods.

1. Traditional Landline or Mobile Phone

When you need to make a quick, direct call from the UK to Dubai, using your landline or mobile phone might be the most familiar option for you. Here’s how to dial:

– Start by entering the international dialing code for the UK, which is 00.

– Next, enter the country code for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is 971.

– Then, enter Dubai’s area code – 4.

– Finally, enter the local seven-digit phone number of the person you are trying to reach.

Putting it all together, your dialed number should look like this: 00 971 4 XXX XXXX.

Please note that charges for international calls can vary depending on your service provider and plan, so it’s recommended to verify these rates beforehand.

2. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Services

For a more affordable option, consider using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services like Skype or WhatsApp. These internet-based platforms allow users to make voice and video calls worldwide at little or no cost. Most VoIP services require you to have a stable internet connection and an account on their platform. Once set up, follow these steps:

– Add your contact’s local phone number in Dubai (with country and area codes) in your VoIP platform’s contact list.

– Connect your device to a stable internet connection.

– Sign in to your chosen VoIP service.

– Select the contact from your contact list and initiate the call.

Please note that the call recipient might also need to have an account on the same platform to make the connection, depending on the service you choose.

3. Calling Card Services

International calling cards are another inexpensive option when calling Dubai from the UK. Various providers offer different rates and features, so research them beforehand. To use a calling card, follow these steps:

– Purchase a calling card from a suitable provider with good rates for calls between the UK and Dubai.

– Dial the access number included on your calling card.

– Enter the unique PIN provided with your purchased card.

– Finally, dial Dubai’s phone number using the proper international format (00 971 4 XXX XXXX) and start your conversation.

Summary:

Staying in touch with your loved ones or business contacts in Dubai is simple with these three methods. Whether you prefer using a traditional landline, VoIP services, or an international calling card, you can now easily bridge the distance between the UK and Dubai. Always remember to keep track of costs and choose the option that best suits your needs.
