With the sparkling skyline over your shoulder and a cocktail in hand, there’s no better way to savor the urban panorama than from one of the top rooftop bars and lounges across the globe. Travel curators and night owlets alike have long praised these high-altitude havens for providing not just stunning views but also exemplary customer service, sophisticated ambiances, and an extensive selection of libations. Here we uncover some of the best sky-high establishments that offer more than just a drink; they offer an unforgettable experience.

 1. Ce La Vi, Singapore

Perched atop the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel, Ce La Vi is famed not just for its panoramic views of Singapore but also for its vibrant atmosphere and signature cocktails. With an infinity pool on one side and a lounge on the other, this spot exudes luxury.

 2. Sky Bar, Bangkok

Bangkok’s skyline is best admired from Lebua at State Tower’s Sky Bar on the 63rd floor. Featured in “The Hangover Part II”, it has an illuminated, color-changing bar that ensures a dramatic drinking scene.

3. Ozone at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

Holding the title of the highest bar in the world on the 118th floor, Ozone offers innovative mixology, Asian tapas, and vistas that need to be seen to be believed. Its futuristic design complements the panoramic view of Victoria Harbour.

4. Aer Lounge, Mumbai

A rooftop haven in bustling Mumbai is found at Four Seasons Hotel’s Aer Lounge. It grants a 360-degree view of city lights while you enjoy eclectic cocktails and tapas as DJ sets subtly enhance the atmosphere.

5. The Rooftop at The Standard, Downtown LA

An urban oasis with a heated swimming pool and red AstroTurf deck—the Rooftop at The Standard is a Los Angeles favorite. It’s known for its vibrating waterbed pods, night-time DJs, and cityscape vistas.

 6. Terrat at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona

Overlooking Gaudi’s architectural wonders and Barcelona’s coastline, Terrat offers a South American-influenced menu. Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio’s creations pair perfectly with cocktails and sunset views.

7. Frank’s Cafe, London

In a less traditional manner, Frank’s Cafe boasts being one of London’s summer hotspots located atop a multi-story car park in Peckham offering not only picturesque views but also contemporary art installations.

 8. Radio Rooftop Bar, Milan

Luxurious yet intimate feelings envelope you upon stepping into Radio Rooftop Bar in Milan where Italian fashion meets excellent mixology alongside privileged views of the Duomo di Milano skyline.

These rooftops go beyond being extraordinary places to enjoy a drink—they’re sights in their own rights that encapsulate the essence of city living while offering an escape to heights that promise serenity amid chaos below.
