When it comes to playing games with friends, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of a good stealth game. The need for strategy, patience, and timing provides a challenging yet satisfying experience. Here’s a look at the seven best co-op stealth games that will have you and your buddies sneaking around for hours.

1.Splinter Cell: Blacklist – With its Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode, Splinter Cell: Blacklist offers an intense experience where teamwork and stealth are key. This game allows players to take on missions silently or go in guns blazing, relying on their partner to watch their six.

2.Payday 2 – While not exclusively a stealth game, Payday 2 offers numerous heists where silent and cunning approaches can lead to big payouts. A well-coordinated team can savor the satisfaction of pulling off a perfect heist without ever triggering an alarm.

3.Ghost Recon Wildlands – This open-world tactical shooter emphasizes silent takedowns and covert operations. Players must work together to scout enemy territories and execute synchronized assaults.

4.A Way Out – Offering a unique split-screen co-op experience, A Way Out is more about narrative-driven stealth and puzzle-solving than pure action. Communication with your partner is essential as you both attempt an intricate prison escape.

5.Sniper Elite 4 – While primarily a sniping game, Sniper Elite 4’s cooperative play modes offer missions that require stealthy movement and quiet elimination of targets from a distance.

6.Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – Known for its extensive stealth gameplay, The Phantom Pain can be enjoyed with friends through its online ‘FOB’ missions where players infiltrate each other’s bases in the ultimate test of sneaky soldiering.

7.Arma 3 – Although it’s a military tactical shooter at heart, Arma 3 includes numerous modded missions together with expansive maps that allow for stealthy maneuvers during combat situations.

Each of these games brings something unique to the table for those looking to employ strategy over strength, making them some of the best choices for co-op stealth gaming sessions. Whether it’s evading detection in enemy territory or planning the perfect heist, these games will keep you on your toes while strengthening your camaraderie.
