Becoming the best version of oneself is an enduring journey, one filled with self-reflection, growth, and ever-changing goals. It’s not something that happens overnight, but rather through a series of small shifts and achievements. Here are eleven signs indicating you’re close to becoming the best version of yourself:

1. Self-Awareness: You have developed a keen understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, and you acknowledge your flaws without self-criticism while working to improve them.

2. Resilience: Setbacks don’t derail you like they used to. You bounce back from failures and view them as opportunities to learn and grow.

3. Authenticity: You’ve shed the pressure to conform and instead embrace your uniqueness, expressing yourself honestly in different aspects of life.

4. Healthy Boundaries: Recognizing your worth, you’ve developed healthy boundaries and can say no without feeling guilty.

5. Mindfulness: You have cultivated a habit of living in the present moment, appreciating the now rather than being preoccupied with past regrets or future anxieties.

6. Passion Pursuit: Your days are increasingly filled with activities that you love, and you’re actively pursuing your passions rather than sidelining them.

7. Empathy: Your ability to connect with others on an emotional level has deepened, allowing for more meaningful relationships.

8. Balance: You’ve learned the importance of balance between work, rest, family, personal growth, and fun.

9. Continuous Learning: The quest for knowledge never ends for you – whether it’s learning new skills or expanding your understanding through books or conversations.

10. Physical Health: You prioritize physical health—not just for aesthetics but for wellness and vitality—through regular exercise and proper nutrition.

11. Gratitude and Positivity: A consistent attitude of gratitude flourishes in you. Challenges are met with positivity instead of despair or cynicism.

Upon recognizing these signs in your life, it’s evident that significant progress has been made toward reaching personal thriving—the hallmark of nearing the best version of yourself.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
