Making brownies in the microwave is incredibly simple, and it’s perfect for when you’re craving a chocolaty treat but short on time. In this article, we’ll guide you on how to make delicious microwave brownies in just a matter of minutes.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

1. Prepare an oven-safe, microwave-safe dish or silicone brownie mold by greasing it with butter or non-stick cooking spray.

2. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter by microwaving it for about 30 seconds, pausing at intervals to check its consistency. Set aside.

3. In another large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract using a whisk or an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

4. Add the melted butter to the sugar mixture and mix until fully combined.

5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder.

6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while continuously stirring until well-combined. Avoid overmixing; stop once all lumps are dissolved.

7. Pour the brownie batter into the greased dish or silicone mold and spread it out evenly with a spatula.

8. Microwave your brownies on high power for approximately 3-5 minutes, depending on your microwave’s wattage. Check them after 3 minutes by inserting a toothpick into the center; if it comes out mostly clean with only a few crumbs, they’re ready. If not, continue microwaving at 30-second intervals until fully cooked.

9. Carefully remove the dish from the microwave (it will be hot!) and let your brownies cool for a few minutes. Once cooled to your desired temperature, cut into squares and enjoy!

In Conclusion:

Microwave brownies are an easy and fast way to satisfy your sweet tooth. They may not have the exact texture of oven-baked brownies, but they’re still delicious and perfect for those moments when you need a quick treat. Feel free to get creative with your recipe by adding nuts, chocolate chips, or other ingredients you love in traditional brownies. Happy microwaving!
