Introduction:

The Dyson Airwrap has revolutionized the world of hair styling with its innovative technology and design. It allows users to style their hair in various ways without causing excessive heat damage. In this article, we will explore three simple ways you can use the Dyson Airwrap effectively to achieve stunning results.

1. Creating Voluminous Curls:

The Dyson Airwrap is perfect for creating soft, voluminous curls that last all day. Follow these steps to achieve this result:

a. Start with damp hair: For best results, use the Dyson Airwrap on damp hair that is around 80% dry. You can either let your hair air-dry or use the pre-styling dryer attachment that comes with the product.

b. Attach the barrel: Choose the right size barrel (30mm or 40mm) for the type of curl you want to create. Remember, smaller barrels create tighter curls, while larger barrels produce looser waves.

c. Section your hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections using clips or hairbands.

d. Wrap and curl: Using medium heat and air speed, hold the Airwrap close to your head and let it grab a section of your hair. The machine will automatically wrap and curl your hair around the wand.

e. Set the curl: Once your hair is wrapped around the barrel, let it sit for a few seconds before turning off the device and releasing your hair gently.

f. Finish styling: Repeat steps d and e until all sections are curled, then use a light hold hairspray or styling product to set your curls in place.

2. Achieving a Sleek Blowout:

A salon-worthy blowout can be achieved effortlessly using Dyson’s smoothing brushes (firm or soft). Here’s how:

a. Prep your hair: Wash, condition, and towel-dry your hair.

b. Apply a heat protectant: Always use a heat protectant spray or serum before using any styling tool.

c. Attach the smoothing brush: Attach the appropriate smoothing brush (firm for thicker hair, soft for finer hair) to the Airwrap.

d. Section your hair: Divide your hair into sections using clips or hairbands.

e. Brush and dry: Move the smoothing brush through each section of your hair from roots to ends, allowing the air to dry and smooth your hair. Repeat until each section is completely dry.

3. Adding Volume with the Round Volumizing Brush:

The round volumizing brush attachment can give you salon-like volume in just a few steps

a. Prep and section: Follow the same prep and sectioning steps as mentioned in the blowout method.

b. Attach the round volumizing brush: Swap out the smoothing brush for the round volumizing brush.

c. Add volume: Take small sections of damp hair, guide the round brush through your roots while lifting it at an upward angle, and let the hot air do its magic for a few seconds before moving downwards towards the ends.

d. Maintain volume: Once your entire head is dry and volumized, set your style with hairspray or volumizing products as desired.

Conclusion:

The Dyson Airwrap is a versatile styling tool that offers various solutions to achieve beautiful curls, sleek blowouts, and voluminous hairstyles without causing excessive damage to your hair. Experiment with these three simple techniques to transform your day-to-day styling routine with ease!
