Dealing with bad behavior in the classroom can be frustrating. It can prevent teachers from teaching and students from learning. So what can you do to manage bad behavior in your classroom? Here are six tips for using Google Classroom for behavior management.

1. Behavior Contracts – Use Google Docs to create behavior contracts for students which can be shared and tracked through Classroom.
2. Behavior Intervention Lessons – Utilize a Classroom for behavior intervention lessons which can be shared with all teachers to use as the need arises with students.
3. Behavior Intervention Plan Tracking Forms – Create behavior intervention plan tracking forms using Google Forms. Data can be downloaded into a spreadsheet for analysis and plan revision.
4. Classroom Behavior Tracking – Track student behavior through Google Forms or Sheets. Use a new tab for each student, and color code tabs for students who need behavior interventions.
5. FBA Team – Create a Functional Behavior Assessment Classroom for students with behavior problems. Post announcements, manage the FBA process, create documents and permit other members to edit, make comments download, etc.
6. Student Observations – Create a Google Form for use in student observations for Functional Behavior Assessments.
