As we navigate our way through life and explore various aspects of our identity, some people might find themselves questioning whether they might be aromantic. Aromantic individuals do not experience romantic attraction to others, while still being able to form deep platonic connections. If you’re curious to discover if you might be aromantic, this Am I Aromantic Quiz can help guide you along your self-discovery journey.

1. How do you feel when people around you discuss their romantic relationships?

2. Intrigued and eager to join in the conversation

3. Slightly disinterested, but willing to listen

4. Uncomfortable and disconnected

5. How would you describe your experience with romantic attraction?

6. I’ve experienced strong romantic feelings in the past or present

7. Rarely, but sometimes it happens

8. I have never felt any romantic attraction towards anyone

9. When watching a movie or TV show that revolves around romance, how do you usually react?

10. Excited and invested in the storylines

11. Neutral or disinterested

12. Uncomfortable and disconnected

13. When imagining your ideal future, how crucial is having a romantic partner?

14. Very important – I actively seek a meaningful romantic relationship

15. It’s not a priority but could be a possibility in my future life

C . Not important – I don’t feel the need for a romantic partner

5. Which type of relationship do you tend to prioritize more?

A. Romantic relationships with strong emotional bonds

B . Depending on the situation, both platonic and romantic relationships hold value

C . Platonic relationships – strong friendships are key for me

After answering all five questions above, tally up your score based on your choices:

– For every “A” answer, give yourself 0 points.

– For every “B” answer, give yourself 1 point.

– For every “C” answer, give yourself 2 points.

Now, analyze your results:

0-2 points: It is unlikely that you are aromantic, as you seem to value and pursue romantic relationships in various aspects of your life.

3-6 points: You might be falling somewhere in between on the spectrum. Continue to explore and pay attention to how you experience attraction and relationships. It may be helpful to research terms like “grayromantic” or “demiromantic.”

7-10 points: Your answers suggest that you could be aromantic. Consider seeking out more information and connecting with others who identify as aromantic to continue your self-discovery journey.

Remember, this quiz is not an exhaustive or definitive answer to whether you are aromantic or not. Ongoing personal reflection and exploration will ultimately lead to a better understanding of your identity. Be patient with yourself as you uncover new insights about who you are!
