Smoke rings, also known as vape rings or O’s, are one of the most impressive tricks performed by smoke and vape enthusiasts. With a little practice and technique, you too can create perfect rings that will amaze your friends. Here are ten steps to get you blowing smoke rings like a pro.

1. Prepare your environment: Find a not-so-windy indoor space with minimal air drafts to avoid your smoke rings from dissipating quickly. Sitting down may be more comfortable, especially if you’re a beginner.

2. Choose the right smoke or vape: Smoke rings work best with thick, dense smoke or vapor from a cigarette, cigar, hookah, or vape device.

3. Inhale the smoke: Take a long and deep drag of the smoke or vapor into your mouth, making sure not to inhale it into your lungs. The goal is to have enough smoke in your mouth to work with when forming the rings.

4. Shape your mouth: To create the ideal ring shape, form an ‘O’ with your lips by tucking in your top and bottom lips around your teeth. Ensure the circle is as round and even as possible for optimal results.

5. Position your tongue: Place your tongue at the bottom of your mouth and slightly curled back towards your throat.

6. Use throat tapping method: With the smoke in your mouth, gently tap the side of your throat using two fingers while keeping your mouth slightly open. This tapping movement will push out a small amount of smoke each time.

7. Or use the jaw-snapping method: Alternatively, keep your mouth in the ‘O’ shape and briefly flick or snap your lower jaw upwards without closing it completely. This will cause a burst of air to form a ring with the smoke.

8. Timing is key: Whether using throat tapping or jaw-snapping techniques, practice different speeds and force to find the perfect timing for consistent smoke rings.

9. Practice and refine: It may take several attempts to produce your first satisfactory smoke rings. Don’t get discouraged – practice, and remember that the more you do it, the better your form and control will become.

10. Advanced techniques: Once you master the basics, try experimenting with more complex tricks such as creating multiple rings in succession or blowing O’s through larger smoke circles.

Remember, practice makes perfect, and soon enough, you’ll be blowing smoke rings that impress everyone around you!
