Introduction

As the automotive market grows increasingly competitive, Mazda has unveiled its latest creation, the 2024 Mazda CX-90. This innovative SUV raises the bar for performance and style in its segment. Let’s explore how the new CX-90 stacks up against its older sibling, the Mazda CX-9.

Exterior Design

The 2024 CX-90 showcases a sleek, modern design language that enhances its road presence. With distinct character lines and a bolder front grille, the CX-90 offers a more aggressive look compared to the conservative styling of the CX-9. The CX-90 also features state-of-the-art LED headlights and taillights, providing ample illumination and a unique visual signature.

Interior Comfort and Features

Mazda has elevated its game when it comes to interior appointments in the CX-90. Both models share Mazda’s commitment to using high-quality materials and ergonomic designs, but the CX-90 takes it a step further with more premium touchpoints and cutting-edge technology. The all-new infotainment system in the CX-90 offers improved user experience and smartphone connectivity options. Additionally, as a three-row SUV just like its predecessor, the 2024 CX-90 provides passengers with increased space, leading to improved comfort compared to the CX-9.

Performance and Efficiency

Under the hood, Mazda decided to outfit the CX-90 with an all-new powertrain that advances both performance and efficiency capabilities. While both SUVs feature Mazda’s signature Skyactiv technology, the 2024 CX-90 benefits from an updated engine lineup that delivers more horsepower and torque while also achieving better fuel economy than its ancestor. Additionally, both models come in either front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations, allowing customers to choose their preferred driving experience.

Safety Features

The 2024 Mazda CX-90 does not compromise on safety, as it comes equipped with the latest i-Activsense safety suite. This advanced safety system offers a plethora of features such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. While the CX-9 also boasts an array of safety features, the CX-90 manages to build upon these by integrating a 360-degree camera system and semi-autonomous driving capabilities as optional extras.

Price

Although pricing details for the 2024 CX-90 are not yet finalized, it’s expected to have a marginally higher base price than its predecessor, given its wealth of additional features. The added cost of ownership should be weighed against the improvements in technology, performance, and style featured in the new model.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 represents a significant improvement over the Mazda CX-9 in nearly every aspect. From its exterior design to interior comforts and technological advancements to performance enhancements – there is no denying that this next-generation model is set to make a lasting impact on the SUV market.
