Images are an important part of any document, be it a report, proposal, or personal project. If you’ve got images in your MS Word or Google Docs document, you might be wondering how to save them as individual files. The process is fairly straightforward and easy to follow, and this article will guide you through the steps to ensure you keep those valuable images and access them easily.

How to Save Images from Microsoft Word:

Step 1: Open the Word document containing the image(s) you want to save.

Step 2: Right-click on the image you want to save and select “Save as Picture”.

Step 3: Select the location where you want to save the image, and give it a file name.

Step 4: Choose the format you want the image to be saved in, such as JPEG or PNG, and click “Save”.

Step 5: Repeat the above steps for each image you want to save.

Note: Keep in mind that the image will be saved in its original size, so you may need to resize it if you want to use it in a different context.

How to Save Images from Google Docs:

Step 1: Open the Google Docs document containing the image(s) you want to save.

Step 2: Right-click on the image you want to save, and select “Save image as…”

Step 3: Choose the location where you want to save the image and give it a file name.

Step 4: Choose the format you want the image to be saved in, such as JPEG or PNG, and click “Save”.

Step 5: Repeat the above steps for each image you want to save.

Tip: If you’re working in a shared document with other collaborators on Google Docs, make sure you have the necessary permission to download images. Ask the document owner or administrator for access, if needed.

Conclusion:

Saving images from MS Word or Google Docs is an easy task, and can be done using a few simple steps. Remember that it’s important to save images in the right format to ensure they’re compatible with your other programs and use needs. If you follow the steps outlined above, you’ll be able to extract your images from your documents and use them in new and exciting ways.
