Roku is a popular streaming device that offers more than 500,000 movies and TV shows on various platforms. The device offers its users a wide range of channels that can be added to customize their streaming experience.
If you’re new to Roku, you may be wondering how to add channels to your device. Here’s a simple guide on how to do it.
1. Access the Roku Home Screen. To find the Roku Home Screen, simply press the home button on your Roku remote.
2. Select the “Streaming Channels” option. Once you’re on the Roku Home Screen, you can navigate to the “Streaming Channels” option on the left menu bar.
3. Click on “Channel Store.” After selecting “Streaming Channels,” you’ll be presented with several options. Choose “Channel Store” to access the various channels available to add to your Roku device.
4. Browse channels. Once in the Channel Store, you can browse channels by categories or search for specific channels by typing its name in the search bar. The categories include Top Free, Movies & TV, News & Weather, Sports, and more.
5. Click on the Channel you want to add. Once you’ve found the channel you want to add, click on it to get more details about the channel.
6. Add the Channel. After reviewing the details, click on the “add channel” button. This will prompt your Roku device to begin downloading the new channel.
7. Return to the Home Screen. Once you’ve added the channel, press the “home” button on your remote to return to the Roku home screen.
8. Find your new channel. Depending on the channel you added, it may appear in different places on your home screen. However, you should be able to see a list of all available channels by scrolling down the home screen.
In conclusion, adding channels to Roku isn’t a difficult task. With these simple steps, you can find and add channels to your device in no time. Roku offers an extensive range of channels, so take some time to explore them to find the channels that best match your interests.
