The iPhone 12 is one of the latest offerings from Apple, and it comes with a range of new features and improvements over its predecessors. One of the most essential features that users look for is the battery percentage, which is an indicator that shows the remaining power in their device’s battery. However, with the iPhone 12, Apple has tweaked the standard options for displaying battery percentage on the screen. In this article, we’ll discuss how to show battery percentage on the iPhone 12 and the different ways you can access this information.

Method 1: Display Battery Percentage in Control Center

The easiest way to view the battery percentage on your iPhone 12 is via the Control Center. Here is how you can do it.

Step 1: Swipe Down from the Upper-Right Side of the Screen

To access the Control Center, swipe down from the upper-right corner of your iPhone 12 screen.

Step 2: Check the Battery Percentage

Once the Control Center is open, you’ll see the battery percentage icon in the top-right corner of the screen. The percentage will be displayed next to the battery icon.

Method 2: Show Battery Percentage in the Battery Widget

Another option for users to view the battery percentage on their iPhone 12 is by using the Battery widget. Here is how you can access the widget.

Step 1: Swipe Left to Right on the Home Screen

To access the widget screen, swipe left to right on your iPhone 12’s home screen until you get to the Today View.

Step 2: Find the Battery Widget

Once you’re on the Today View screen, locate the Battery widget. The widget will display the battery percentage next to the battery icon, much like in the Control Center.

Step 3: Add Battery Widget to the Home Screen

If you can’t find the Battery widget, you can add it to your home screen by following these steps:

– Long press on a blank space on your home screen

– Tap the plus sign (+) in the upper left corner

– Search for “Battery” in the search bar

– Tap on the Battery widget

– Choose either the small or large battery widget size

– Tap “Add Widget” to add the widget to your home screen

Method 3: Show Battery Percentage in the Settings App

The Settings app also provides an option for users to view the battery percentage on their iPhone 12. Here is how you can do it.

Step 1: Open the Settings App

On your iPhone 12, locate the Settings app and tap on it to open.

Step 2: Tap on Battery

Once on the Settings app main screen, scroll down to the “Battery” option and tap on it.

Step 3: Check the Battery Percentage

On the next screen, you’ll see the current battery percentage displayed next to the battery icon.

Conclusion

Knowing how to show battery percentage on your iPhone 12 is crucial if you want to keep track of your device’s battery life. With these simple methods mentioned, you can view your battery percentage easily and quickly. Whether you choose to access the percentage through the Control Center, Battery widget, or Settings app, you’ll always be aware of your iPhone 12’s power status.
