The Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22 are two of the latest flagship smartphones manufactured by Samsung. They come with a range of advanced features, making them one of the most sought-after devices in the market. However, like all other electronic devices, there may be times when you need to reboot or turn off your Galaxy S21 or S22 for troubleshooting or other purposes. In this article, we will outline simple steps to help you power off or restart your Galaxy S21 or S22.

Method 1: Using the Power Menu

The easiest and quickest way to turn off, restart, or even reboot your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22 is by using the power menu. This method is straightforward and requires no additional or technical skills. Here are the simple steps to follow:

Step 1: Press and hold the Power button on your Galaxy S21 or S22. You will see several options appear on the screen.

Step 2: Tap on “Power off” if you want to turn off your device. A message will appear to confirm the action, and you can then select “Power off” again to proceed.

Step 3: If you want to restart your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22 instead, simply press and hold the Power button again, and then tap on “Restart.”

Step 4: Finally, if you want to reboot your device, tap on “Reboot” from the power menu, and your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22 will restart automatically.

Method 2: Using the Hardware Keys

If, for some reason, you can’t access the power menu on your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22, you can use the hardware keys to turn off, restart, or reboot your device. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Simultaneously press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button on your

Galaxy S21 or S22.

Step 2: Hold down both keys until your device vibrates, and then release them.

Step 3: You will see the “Power off” menu displayed on the screen. Tap on “Power off” to shut down your Galaxy S21 or S22, “Restart” to reboot your device or “Recovery mode” to access the recovery mode.

Step 4: If you want to reboot your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22, tap on “Reboot.” To finalize the process, tap on “System” from the options displayed on your screen.

Method 3: Using the Settings Menu

You can also use the settings menu to power off, restart or reboot your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22. Here’s how:

Step 1: Tap on the “Settings” app on your Galaxy S21 or S22.

Step 2: Scroll down until you find “General Management,” and then tap on it.

Step 3: From the options displayed, tap on “Reset,” and then select “Restart” to reboot your device or “Reset” to turn off your Galaxy S21 or S22.

Step 4: Finally, if you want to reboot your Samsung Galaxy S21 or S22, tap on “Reboot.” To finalize the process, tap on “System” from the options displayed on your screen.
