A factory reset is one of the best ways to troubleshoot software-related issues on any iPhone. However, if you forget your password, it can become challenging to carry out a factory reset. Fortunately, there are ways to reset your iPhone without a password.
In this article, we’ll be discussing the best methods on how to factory reset iPhone without password, including support for iOS 16 Beta.

Method 1: Using iTunes

Before proceeding, it’s important to note that using iTunes to reset your iPhone will erase all data and settings on the device. Therefore, you should ensure that you have a recent backup of your

iPhone’s data before starting the process.

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes.

Step 2: On the iTunes interface, locate your iPhone and click on the ‘Restore iPhone’ button.

Step 3: iTunes will prompt you to confirm that you want to restore your iPhone to its factory settings. Click on ‘Restore’ and wait for the process to complete.

Once the reset process is complete, your iPhone will restart, and you’ll be given the option to restore your data from a backup or set up your device as new.

Method 2: Using iCloud

If you have enabled Find My iPhone on your device, you can use iCloud to reset your iPhone remotely.

Step 1: Visit iCloud.com on any browser and sign in with your Apple ID and password.

Step 2: Select ‘Find My iPhone’ from the list of options.

Step 3: Click on ‘All Devices’ and choose the iPhone you want to reset.

Step 4: Click on ‘Erase iPhone’ and confirm your action to reset your iPhone.

Once the process is complete, your iPhone will restart, and you’ll be given the option to restore your data from a backup or set up your device as new.

Method 3: Recovery Mode

If your iPhone is unresponsive or you have forgotten your password, you can use recovery mode to reset your iPhone.

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.

Step 2: Press and hold the ‘Home’ and ‘Sleep/Wake’ buttons on your iPhone until the Apple logo appears.

Step 3: Continue holding the ‘Home’ button until the ‘Connect to iTunes’ screen appears.

Step 4: On the iTunes interface, select ‘Restore iPhone’ and confirm your action to reset your

iPhone.

Once the process is complete, your iPhone will restart, and you’ll be given the option to restore your data from a backup or set up your device as new.
