As a Pokémon trainer, efficiently leveling up your team is essential in order to take on Gyms, the Elite Four, and other challenges. One of the best ways to do this is with the Exp. Share item. In this article, we explore nine ways to get the Exp. Share and make your journey as a Pokémon master more enjoyable.

1. Story Progression: In many mainline Pokémon games, such as Pokémon X and Y or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, you’ll receive the Exp. Share as you progress in the storyline. The game’s NPCs will typically give it to you after achieving certain milestones.

2. Purchase from Poké Marts: In some titles, such as Pokémon Sword and Shield, you can purchase an Exp. Candy from Poké Marts found in every town. These candies serve a similar purpose as Exp. Share and are a fantastic alternative.

3. Side Quests: Complete side quests or missions, which may require assisting NPCs or finding lost items in exchange for useful rewards. Some games will have side quests available that will reward you with an Exp. Share.

4. Training Battles: In certain games like Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee!, successful training battles can yield an Exp. Share. Be on the lookout for trainers who offer challenging battles and seize those opportunities.

5. In-Game Trades: Trading is a large part of Pokémon gameplay and sometimes can reward you with invaluable items like an Exp. Share. Talk to NPCs who are interested in trading and see what they have to offer.

6. Item Hunting: Scour the world for hidden items using abilities like Hidden Power or using special items like Itemfinder or Dowsing Machine. Occasionally, you’ll come across hard-to-find items such as an Exp. Share through exploration.

7. Online Play: Participate in online battles and events. Some events give away Exp. Share as a reward for participating or achieving a certain ranking.

8. Mystery Gifts: Take advantage of the game’s Mystery Gift feature. This function occasionally distributes rare items, including an Exp. Share, for a limited time. Keep up to date with Pokémon news and announcements to make sure you don’t miss out on these events.

9. Utilize Poké Jobs: In Pokémon Sword and Shield, completing Poké Jobs at the Rotomi can earn you experience points and potentially an Exp. Candy. Send your team members on various jobs to gain experience and useful items efficiently.

With these nine ways to get Exp. Share, leveling up your Pokémon team becomes a more enjoyable task, allowing you to strengthen your roster quicker and effectively pursue your dreams of becoming a Pokémon master. Happy training!
