Memory Integrity is a security feature in Windows that helps prevent malicious code from accessing high-security processes, playing a crucial role in safeguarding your system. But sometimes, you may encounter an issue where the Memory Integrity setting is turned off on your Windows 11/10 machine, which could leave your computer vulnerable to attacks. If you’re facing this problem, here are 9 ways to fix the ‘Memory Integrity is off’ error and enhance your system security:

1. Check for Windows Updates: Keeping your system up-to-date can resolve underlying issues preventing Memory Integrity from turning on. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

2. Update Device Drivers: Outdated or incompatible drivers can also block Memory Integrity. Use the Device Manager to update drivers or download the latest versions from the manufacturer’s website.

3. Enable Secure Boot: Secure Boot must be enabled in the UEFI/BIOS settings to allow Memory Integrity to function properly. Restart your computer and access BIOS settings to enable Secure Boot.

4. Check TPM Chip: A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip is required for this feature. Check if your computer has one and if it’s enabled in the BIOS.

5. Enable Virtualization Technology: Sometimes, enabling VT-x (Intel) or AMD-V (AMD) features in BIOS resolves issues with Memory Integrity. Consult your motherboard manual for instructions on how to enable these settings.

6. Uninstall Incompatible Software: Occasionally, some software, especially third-party antivirus solutions, can conflict with the Memory Integrity setting. Uninstall any software that could be causing a problem.

7. Perform System File Checker Scan: Corrupted system files might prevent Memory Integrity from turning on. To fix corrupted files, open Command Prompt as admin and run `sfc /scannow`.

8. Reset Core Isolation Settings: If tweaking other settings doesn’t work, try resetting core isolation by navigating to Registry Editor and deleting the `0` DWORD under `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\CredentialGuard`.

9. Fresh Install of Windows: If all else fails, consider backing up your data and performing a fresh install of Windows.

Altering BIOS settings can be risky; it is important to be cautious when changing these settings or consult an IT professional if unsure about the process steps.

With these fixes, you can resolve the ‘Memory Integrity is off’ error and keep your Windows 11/10 system secure.
