Tuna salad is a classic American dish that can vary tremendously in taste and quality depending on where you get it. From fast food to fine dining, various restaurant chains have put their spin on the recipe, each offering a unique version worth trying. Here are eight restaurant chains notorious for serving some of the best tuna salads around:

.Panera Bread – Panera’s Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich offers a delightful twist with chicken, but their dedication to fresh ingredients and flavors extends to traditional items too. Their tuna salad sandwich, made with 100% Albacore tuna, emerald greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, and red onions, served on honey wheat bread, is a refreshing choice.

.Subway – As the world’s largest submarine sandwich chain, Subway offers a simple yet satisfying tuna salad sandwich. It features flaked tuna mixed with mayo and your choice of fresh veggies and bread.

.Jason’s Deli – Known for their deli classics, Jason’s Deli serves up a mean tuna salad made with premium meat and fresh produce. It’s available in a sandwich or on top of their Salad Bar.

.McAlister’s Deli – McAlister’s strikes a fine balance between gourmet and casual, with their Tuna Salad Sandwich being no exception. Prepared with spring mix and tomatoes on croissant or your choice of bread it makes for a hearty meal.

.Pret A Manger – Pret’s Tuna Salad wrap is composed of skipjack tuna and free-range egg salad with pickled onions and capers, delivering a unique European twist to the classic American staple.

.Whole Foods Market – Not typically known as a restaurant chain, Whole Foods still deserves mention for its prepared foods section which often features gourmet-quality tuna salad that can be eaten in-store or taken to-go.

.Corner Bakery Cafe – With an attention to rustic simplicity, Corner Bakery Cafe offers a Tuna Salad Sandwich that takes you back to the basics but makes sure those basics are exceptional: Albacore tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onions and iceberg lettuce on harvest bread.

.Chick-fil-A – While not available universally at all locations or times of year, Chick-fil-A has been known to offer a Tuna Salad Sandwich during Lent which loyal Chick-fil-A customers praise highly for its taste and quality.

Whether you’re looking for an inexpensive grab-and-go option or wish to enjoy your tuna salad in a more relaxed café setting, these eight restaurant chains should be on your list for when the craving strikes!
