Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 offers a plethora of weapons that can suit different playstyles, but for beginners looking to make an impact on the battlefield without a steep learning curve, selecting the right weapon is crucial. Here are 8 of the best weapons for beginners in Modern Warfare 3:

1. M4A1 – This fully-automatic assault rifle is unlocked at level 4, which makes it immediately accessible to newcomers. It has moderate recoil and a balanced rate of fire, which allows players to be effective both in close-range and mid-range combat.

2. UMP45 – As a submachine gun, the UMP45 is ideal for those who like to stay mobile and engage enemies at close to medium range. It has a slow rate of fire for an SMG, which helps control the recoil and makes it easier for beginners to handle.

3. MP7 – Unlocked at level 74 or through the Support Strike Package, this submachine gun is user-friendly due to its low recoil and high fire rate, making it forgiving for new players who have not yet mastered aiming under fire.

4. SCAR-L – Another assault rifle that’s great for beginners is the SCAR-L. This weapon is well-rounded with good damage and manageable recoil. It’s unlocked early in the progress at level 6.

5. Type 95 – At level 32, players can access this burst-fire assault rifle with high damage output per burst. While it requires a bit of trigger discipline due to its burst nature, it compensates with its lethality in accuracy.

6. PP90M1 – The PP90M1 submachine gun shines in close-quarter combat with its high fire rate and substantial hip-fire accuracy. It’s available at level 38, allowing newcomers to get a feel for more aggressive play styles.

7. ACR 6.8 – A favorite among players of all skill levels due to its low recoil and high accuracy, this assault rifle can help beginners hit distant targets more consistently. The ACR 6.8 unlocks at level 50.

8. MK14 – For those who want to try semi-automatic rifles, the MK14 provides high damage with each shot and is relatively easy to control for precise shooting. It becomes available at level 60.

These weapons offer a blend of usability and effectiveness that can help ease beginners into the fast-paced action of Modern Warfare 3 while still being competitive against more seasoned players.
