As the highly anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 prepares to make its grand entrance on PS5 and Xbox platforms, both newcomers and RPG veterans will have their strategies put to the test in the realm of Faerûn. Here are five starter tips to ensure that you begin your adventure on the right foot.

1.Experiment with Different Classes: Before committing to a single class, spend some time experimenting with several types to find one that suits your preferred playstyle best. Each class offers a unique set of abilities and tactics, making your approach to combat and problem-solving distinct.

2.Pay Attention to Your Surroundings: Exploration is key in Baldur’s Gate 3. The environment is rich with hidden treasures, traps, and secrets waiting to be discovered. Use the verticality of the game’s world to your advantage by seeking out high ground for tactical benefits in battle.

3.Make Use of Stealth and Social Skills: Combat isn’t always the only solution. Many encounters can be handled with a stealthy approach or through diplomatic dialogue, leveraging your character’s social skills to avoid unnecessary confrontations.

4.Short Rests are Crucial: Don’t underestimate the power of taking a short rest to recover some of your abilities and health points without using up resources like healing potions or spell slots.

5.Familiarize Yourself with Turn-Based Mechanics: Baldur’s Gate 3 employs a turn-based combat system which may take some getting used to if you’re more accustomed to real-time action. Practice patience and strategic planning as you learn when to attack, defend, use items, or reposition.

These initial tips should serve as a foundational guide as you dive into the dynamic world of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5 and Xbox; they will enhance your gameplay experience and improve your chances of success in this epic fantasy adventure.
