Fans of the legal drama series “The Lincoln Lawyer,” based on Michael Connelly’s novels, have been engrossed by the compelling storytelling and intricate legal battles depicted in the show. If you’re looking for more shows with a similar blend of courtroom drama, crime investigation, and complex characters, here are seven series that you might enjoy watching on various streaming platforms:

1.”Better Call Saul” (Netflix)– Dive into the morally gray world of Jimmy McGill as he transforms into Saul Goodman, the slick lawyer from “Breaking Bad.” The prequel series offers a mix of dark humor and legal drama, with storytelling that is just as compelling as “The Lincoln Lawyer.”

2.”How to Get Away with Murder” (Netflix)– This ABC series follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defense professor who become entangled in a twisted murder plot. The show combines courtroom drama with flashforwards and complex character dynamics.

3.”The Good Wife” (Hulu)– Alicia Florrick’s journey from homemaker to high-powered legal eagle is rife with political intrigue and courtroom clashes. With an excellent ensemble cast and sharp writing, this series offers an insightful look into personal ethics and legal battles.

4.”Suits” (Amazon Prime Video)– Set in a New York law firm, “Suits” focuses on the unlikely partnership between a brilliant college dropout and one of the city’s best closers. The show serves up high-stakes legal cases alongside personal drama.

5.”Goliath” (Amazon Prime Video)– Billy Bob Thornton stars as a washed-up lawyer seeking redemption by taking on cases against seemingly unbeatable Goliaths of the legal world. Each season features a new case with gripping moral dilemmas and gritty courtrooms scenes.

6.”Damages” (Hulu)– In this legal thriller series, Glenn Close stars as a ruthless litigator Patty Hewes, with Rose Byrne as her protégé. Full of twists and turns, ‘Damages’ pushes the envelope with its nonlinear narrative and ethical quandaries.

7.”Bosch” (Amazon Prime Video)– Another Michael Connelly adaptation, this time focusing on Hieronymus ‘Harry’ Bosch, an LAPD detective dedicated to justice at all costs. While not based in the courtroom, fans of Connelly’s storytelling will appreciate the procedural elements and complex characterization.

These shows each offer their unique twist on law-related dramas and are sure to satiate any appetite for crisp dialogue, moral quandaries, and suspenseful storytelling like that found in “The Lincoln Lawyer.” Whether it’s through gripping trials or inner-office politics, they paint a vivid world of law and order for viewers to immerse themselves in.
