As the leaves begin to transform into a tapestry of reds, oranges, and yellows, the Ozark Mountains offer a breathtaking autumnal symphony that is not to be missed. From quaint towns to vast forests, the Ozarks boast a variety of destinations where fall foliage enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the season’s beauty. Here are the seven best places to experience fall in the Ozarks:

1.Eureka Springs– Nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, this Victorian town is surrounded by hills that explode with color in autumn. Strolling through historic streets lined with vibrant trees creates a picturesque experience.

2.Branson– Known for its entertainment and lakes, Branson also shines in fall with its surrounding hillsides offering dramatic views. The Branson Scenic Railway is a fantastic way to see the palette of fall colors from a different vantage point.

3.Buffalo National River– As America’s first national river, it winds through some of the most beautiful landscapes. In fall, canoeing down stream provides an epic journey beneath bluffs lit with fiery hues.

4.Ozark National Forest– Spanning 1.2 million acres, this forest becomes an autumn wonderland. With miles of hiking trails, one can truly get lost amid the splendor of fall foliage.

5.Table Rock Lake State Park– Offering stunning vistas over the water with a backdrop of color-shifting trees, it’s a favorite spot for photographers and nature lovers alike during the autumn months.

6.Big Cedar Lodge– Located just south of Branson, this resort offers trails and lookouts that showcase panoramic views of the Ozark Mountain’s fall colors.

7.Pietown Hill Route– An unofficial name for highway stretches around Carthage where one can drive among some of the brightest displays of fall foliage in Missouri.

Whether you’re out for a leisurely drive or an invigorating hike, each of these locations offers its own unique slice of Ozark autumn beauty for every kind of fall fan to enjoy.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
