In the upcoming space-faring adventure game Starfield, players will journey across the stars, encountering myriad challenges and enemies. To ensure survival and success, you’ll need to arm yourself adequately. Among the most powerful tools at your disposal will be laser weapons—cutting-edge arms capable of immense destruction. Here, we explore seven of the best laser weapons in Starfield and how to acquire them.

1.Photon Blaster DX7:This weapon is a favorite for its balance between energy consumption and firepower. It can be found on the planet Akila, in the hands of a notorious outlaw. To get it, you must complete the “A Light in the Dark” side quest.

2.Neutron Annihilator:Known for its high burst damage, the Neutron Annihilator is best used against heavily armored foes. You can acquire this weapon by completing the main questline misson “Into The Neutron Star”, which nets you this powerful armament as a reward.

3.Quantum Disintegrator:For those looking for precision over brute force, this sniper-like laser weapon is perfect for long-range engagements. Secure this weapon by achieving the rank of Commander within the United Colonies Peacekeeping force, and completing related special operations missions.

4.Pulse Emitter Alpha:Sporting rapid-fire capability that can mow down enemies quickly, this weapon shines in close combat situations. You can get your hands on one by trading with Spacefarer’s Guild members or by crafting it using schematics found on Outpost Alpha Centauri.

5.Gamma Ray Burst Rifle:Emitting high-intensity gamma radiation bursts, this rifle does not just deal immediate damage—it also has lasting radioactive effects on targets. Acquire it by researching Gamma technology at your personal base’s laboratory once you’ve collected necessary alien artifacts across different planets.

6.Infrared Beam Cannon:If you’re after a weapon that can bypass shields with ease, look no further than this cannon. In-game engineers on Settler Station Sigma will gladly construct one for you once you deliver rare minerals mined from asteroids within the Beltegeuse sector.

7.Fusion Lance X-9:The ultimate heavy-hitter in terms of energy weapons, capable of melting through even the thickest armor plating with ease. The Fusion Lance X-9 is earned upon defeating General Volgarius during the climactic battle of Starfield’s epic story arc “Fall of Titans”.

In order to maximize their potential, these weapons may require additional energy cells or other resources to use effectively—so players should always be prepared to maintain their arsenal carefully. With these seven laser weapons in your possession in Starfield, you’ll have both power and versatility at your fingertips as you navigate through uncharted territories and fight to secure humanity’s place among the stars.
