4 Ways to Make a Fake Septum Piercing

Introduction:

A septum piercing is an increasingly popular fashion choice that involves piercing the nasal septum, the thin cartilage that separates your nostrils. However, not everyone is ready to commit to a real piercing. Thankfully, there are ways to achieve the look without getting pierced. In this article, we will be discussing four methods for creating a fake septum piercing.

1. The Clip-On Septum Ring:

The easiest and most convenient method for creating a fake septum piercing is by using a clip-on septum ring. These non-piercing accessories are widely available, easy to find, and come in a variety of styles. To wear one, simply slide the ring to your desired position on the septum and carefully pinch it closed until it stays firmly in place.

2. DIY with Paper Clips:

If you’re feeling crafty and want to create your own fake septum ring, you can use materials lying around at home like paper clips. First, ensure that the paper clip is sanitized and not rusty. Next, bend the paper clip into a circle that fits comfortably around your septum. You can customize its size by bending it more or less and can even apply nail polish or paint to add some style.

3.Application of Body-Friendly Adhesive:

Another option for creating a fake septum piercing involves using body-friendly adhesive with small beads or jewelry components on either side of your septum. Apply a small amount of adhesive on each bead or jewelry component (make sure the adhesive is skin-safe) and gently press it against your septum in the desired position. Hold them in place as they dry, and soon you’ll have the appearance of a pierced septum without any pain!

4.Makeup Illusion Technique:

Creating a convincing illusion of a septum piercing can also be achieved through makeup. With a fine precision brush, apply a dark shade of eyeshadow or gel eyeliner in a small dot on your septum. Next, add a tiny bit of highlighter to the sides of the dot to mimic the raised appearance of a nostril pierce. Practice this technique to achieve an accurate, realistic look.

Conclusion:

Whether you’re just testing out the septum piercing look or want a temporary style for a night out, these four methods can help you achieve a convincing fake septum piercing. Remember always to prioritize safety and cleanliness and enjoy the fashionable addition to your personal style without any pain!
