Introduction:

An invisible ink pen is a useful and fun tool that allows you to write secret messages or create hidden drawings, with the writing visible only under specific conditions. With some simple household items, you can easily make your own invisible ink pen at home. Here are three methods to create an invisible ink pen.

Method 1: Lemon Juice Pen

Materials:

– Lemon

– Small bowl

– Cotton swab or fine paintbrush

– White paper

– Iron or light bulb

Procedure:

1. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze its juice into a small bowl.

2. Use the cotton swab or fine paintbrush to dip into the lemon juice.

3. Write your message on the white paper with the lemon juice-dipped cotton swab or paintbrush.

4. Allow the paper to dry completely.

5. To reveal the message, hold the paper near a heat source, such as an iron or light bulb—the heat will cause the lemon juice to darken and become visible.

Method 2: Baking Soda Ink Pen

Materials:

– Baking soda

– Water

– Small bowl

– Cotton swab or fine paintbrush

– White paper

– Iodine solution or grape juice concentrate

Procedure:

1. Mix equal amounts of baking soda and water in a small bowl to create a paste.

2. Dip the cotton swab or fine paintbrush into the paste and use it to write on white paper.

3. Allow the paper to dry completely.

4. To reveal the message, lightly brush iodine solution or grape juice concentrate onto the paper—the chemical reaction between baking soda and iodine or grape juice will make your message visible.

Method 3: Wax Resist Pen

Materials:

– White crayon or wax candle

– White paper

– Watercolor paint or food coloring in water

Procedure:

1. Use the white crayon or wax candle to write or draw on the white paper.

2. Allow the wax to dry completely.

3. Apply watercolor paint or food coloring in water to the paper with a brush or sponge—the wax will resist the paint or dye, revealing your message or drawing.

Conclusion:

Creating an invisible ink pen can be a fun and educational activity for both children and adults. With these three methods, anyone can easily craft their own secret messages and hidden drawings using everyday household items. Happy writing!
