Apple’s AirPods have taken the wireless headphone market by storm, and for a good reason. These compact, innovative earbuds offer substantial audio quality and an unbeatable user experience. However, one of the primary concerns for any wireless device user is battery life. To ensure you never find yourself with dead AirPods at the most inopportune time, it’s essential to know how to check your AirPods’ battery life. In this article, we will explore three easy methods for monitoring your AirPods’ battery levels.

1. Use Your iPhone

One of the simplest ways to check your AirPods’ battery life is using your iPhone. When your AirPods are connected to your iPhone, follow these steps:

a. Open the Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner (on iPhone X or later) or swiping up from the bottom (on iPhone 8 or earlier).

b. Locate and press the audio card, which displays either your current music or podcast episode.

c. The battery percentage of both your AirPods and their charging case will be displayed next to the connected device name.

2. Ask Siri

If you want a hands-free approach to checking your AirPods’ battery life, enlist Siri’s help. While wearing your AirPods, simply ask Siri: “What’s my AirPods’ battery level?” Siri will then read out the remaining percentage for each individual AirPod and their charging case if they’re within range.

3. Use the Battery Widget

You can add a dedicated Battery Widget on your iPhone home screen to keep track of your AirPods, among other devices like Apple Watch and smart battery cases:

a. Swipe right from your home screen or lock screen to reveal Today View.

b. Scroll down and tap on “Edit.”

c. Click the ‘+’ icon next to the Battery widget and add it to your home screen.

d. To see your AirPods’ battery percentage, simply connect them to your iPhone. Their battery levels will be displayed in the Battery Widget.

In conclusion, being aware of your AirPods’ remaining battery life helps you enjoy uninterrupted, hassle-free audio experiences. With these three easy methods for monitoring battery levels, you’ll know when to give your AirPods a quick charge-up and never face unexpected downtime again.
