South Korea is a vibrant country known for its rich history and cutting-edge modernity. From ancient palaces to high-tech cities, South Korea offers a flurry of activities for travelers. Here are 22 of the best things to do in South Korea:

  1. Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, where you can witness changing of the guards and explore traditional Korean architecture.
  2. Wander through the neon-lit streets of Myeongdong, Seoul for some world-class shopping and street food.
  3. Take a hike up Bukhansan Mountain, located within Seoul’s city limits, and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
  4. Explore the island of Jeju, famous for its volcanic landscapes, beautiful beaches, and the iconic Hallasan Mountain.
  5. Stroll through the historic village of Hahoe in Andong to see traditional houses from the Joseon Dynasty.
