The 2025 Subaru BRZ continues to uphold its reputation as an affordable, lightweight sports car that prioritizes handling and driver engagement. For the 2025 model year, Subaru is introducing a limited-edition BRZ Series.Purple, adding a touch of exclusivity to this already popular sports coupe.

Highlights of the 2025 BRZ Series.Purple:

  • Limited production of 500 units
  • Exclusive Galaxy Purple Pearl exterior color
  • Unique interior accents and badging
  • Performance enhancements including STI-tuned suspension components

The Series.Purple edition stands out with its striking Galaxy Purple Pearl paint, complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels in a new satin silver finish. Black exterior badging adds a subtle contrast to the eye-catching purple hue.

Inside, the special edition features black upholstery with exclusive gray stitching on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, door panels, shifter boot, and parking brake boot. The front seats are adorned with Ultrasuede® seating surfaces, gray leather bolsters, and embroidered BRZ logos.

Performance-wise, the Series.Purple includes an STI-tuned flexible V-bar under the hood for improved chassis rigidity and handling precision. The standard STI short-throw shifter enhances the tactile experience of rowing through the gears.

All 2025 BRZ models, including the Series.Purple, are powered by the naturally aspirated 2.4-liter boxer engine, producing 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The Series.Purple is exclusively available with a six-speed manual transmission, emphasizing its focus on driver engagement.

Beyond the Series.Purple, the standard 2025 BRZ lineup receives minor updates, including refinements to the infotainment system and the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features across all trim levels.

Subaru‘s EyeSight driver assistance technology, which became standard on all automatic transmission models in the previous year, continues to be offered, providing features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and pre-collision braking.

The 2025 Subaru BRZ, particularly with the introduction of the Series.Purple edition, continues to offer sports car enthusiasts an accessible and engaging driving experience. Its balanced chassis, responsive engine, and driver-focused design make it a standout choice in the affordable sports car segment, competing with vehicles like the Toyota GR86 and Mazda MX-5 Miata.
