2025 Lexus LS

The Lexus LS, the flagship sedan that launched the Lexus brand back in 1989, enters the 2025 model year with a series of refinements aimed at enhancing its luxury appeal and technological prowess.
For 2025, the LS receives subtle exterior updates, including a revised spindle grille design and new LED headlight and taillight signatures. These changes serve to modernize the LS’s appearance while maintaining its elegant and imposing presence.
Under the hood, the LS continues to offer two powertrain options. The LS 500 features a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 416 horsepower, while the LS 500h hybrid combines a 3.5-liter V6 with two electric motors for a total system output of 354 horsepower. Both variants are available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Inside, the 2025 LS sees significant updates to its infotainment system. The much-criticized touchpad interface has been replaced with a more user-friendly touchscreen system, featuring improved graphics and faster response times. The 12.3-inch display now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Lexus has also enhanced the LS’s already impressive sound insulation, resulting in an even quieter cabin. New semi-aniline leather options and wood trim choices further elevate the interior’s luxurious ambiance.
Safety features receive an upgrade with the latest version of Lexus Safety System+, which includes enhanced autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with improved low-speed functionality, and a more advanced lane-keeping assist system.
The 2025 Lexus LS continues to offer exceptional comfort, refinement, and build quality. While it may not match some European rivals in outright performance, it excels in providing a serene and luxurious driving experience. With a starting price expected to be around $78,000 for the LS 500 and $92,000 for the LS 500h, the 2025 Lexus LS remains a compelling option in the full-size luxury sedan segment.
