The 2024 Buick Encore GX has officially hit the road, and this refreshed model represents a significant facelift for the popular compact crossover. A true testament to Buick’s ability to listen to its customers and adapt, the 2024 Encore GX promises an enhanced driving experience that effortlessly melds luxury, performance, and practicality.

From the exterior, the first thing that stands out is the sleek new design. The redesign of the front grille gives a sense of refined elegance, while new LED headlights add a touch of modern flair. Additionally, redesigned side mirrors with built-in turn signal indicators improve visibility and establish a distinct contemporary aesthetic.

Under the hood, the 2024 Encore GX boasts a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine with two gearbox options – a standard manual transmission or an available continuously variable transmission (CVT). With up to 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque at its disposal, this crossover packs more than enough punch for comfortable daily driving.

The new suspension system incorporated into the design enhances ride comfort and delivers improved handling characteristics. On our first drive, we couldn’t help but notice how composed the Encore GX felt on both highway stretches and winding country roads. It seemed evident that Buick had put enormous effort into ensuring an excellent balance between maneuverability and stability.

Inside this revived model, you’ll find tastefully designed high-quality materials lining the cabin. The seats are quilted with soft leatherette upholstery that adds a sense of opulence without going overboard on extravagance. The infotainment system gets an upgrade too, now sporting a slick 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

For those concerned about safety features, rest assured that Buick has you covered. The 2024 Encore GX comes equipped with standard advanced safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Moreover, the volume of cargo space has been noticeably increased – a welcoming sight to families or those who need ample room for luggage or equipment. This added practicality does not come at the cost of the vehicle’s overall dimensions, ensuring that the 2024 Encore GX remains a compact crossover in the truest sense, both in terms of size and maneuverability.

After our first drive in the 2024 Buick Encore GX, it’s clear that this cosmetic surgery was not simply skin-deep. Buick’s dedication to improvement and constant innovation is evident in every aspect of this refreshed model. The resulting marriage between style, luxury, performance, and practicality is sure to win over long-time fans and newcomers alike with its impressive lineup of features and capabilities.
