20 Creative Ways To Use Milk Crates in Your Classroom

1. Bookshelves: Stack milk crates on their sides to create a unique bookshelf for your classroom library.

2. Storage bins: Use milk crates to organize and store art supplies, manipulatives, or other classroom materials.

3. Seating: Turn milk crates upside down and add a cushion or seat pad for instant flexible seating options.

4. Cubby holes: Arrange milk crates into a grid and use them as individual student cubby holes for storing backpacks, folders, and personal belongings.

5. Planters: Set up milk crates as vertical gardens to teach students about plant growth and responsibility.

6. Recycling stations: Use milk crates to create designated recycling stations in your classroom for paper, plastic, and other recyclable materials.

7. Building blocks: Incorporate milk crates into your block center for students to build and create structures.
