1. Hydrate: Drinking plenty of water throughout the day helps maintain soft and healthy skin. Aim to drink at least eight glasses of water daily.

2. Moisturize: Apply a high-quality moisturizer to your skin, both in the morning and before bed. This helps lock in hydration and prevent stripping of natural oils.

3. Exfoliate Regularly: Remove dead skin cells by exfoliating your skin 1-2 times a week with a gentle scrub.

4. Use a Gentle Cleanser: Swap out harsh soaps for a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser to avoid over-drying your skin.

5. Limit Hot Showers: Hot water can strip the skin’s natural oils and leave it feeling dry. Opt for lukewarm showers instead.

6. Apply Sunscreen: Protect your skin from harmful UV rays by applying sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher daily.

7. Overnight Hydration: Apply a hydrating overnight mask to boost moisture levels while you sleep.

8. Humidifier: Use a humidifier in your bedroom at night to add moisture back into the air, helping retain softness in your skin.

9. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Choose skincare and makeup products that are free from irritants, such as parabens and sulfates.

10. Nourish From Within: Eat a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats to support overall skin health.

11. DIY Masks: Create homemade hydrating face masks using ingredients like avocado, honey, or yogurt.

12. Limit Alcohol and Caffeine Intake: Consume alcohol and caffeine in moderation, as they can dehydrate your body and negatively impact your skin’s texture.

13.Schedule Periodic Spa Treatments: Pamper your skin with microdermabrasion or chemical peels at your local spa salon once per month or every few months.

14. Pat, Don’t Rub: When it comes to drying your skin, gently pat yourself dry with a soft towel instead of rubbing, which can cause irritation and dryness.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
