Horror movie enthusiasts rejoice! YouTube has become a treasure trove for films, and among its vast collection are some hidden and not-so-hidden gems that are available completely free of charge. If you’re looking to delve into terror without spending a penny, here are 13 great horror movies you can enjoy on YouTube:

.”Night of the Living Dead” (1968) – George A. Romero’s classic that set the standard for zombie apocalypse narratives.

.”The House on Haunted Hill” (1959) – A Vincent Price masterpiece where guests at a haunted house party confront eerie and alarming incidents.

.”Carnival of Souls” (1962) – An atmospheric film about a woman drawn to a mysterious abandoned carnival after a traumatic accident.

.”Nosferatu” (1922) – The silent era’s seminal vampire film that introduces Count Orlok, remains an iconic piece of horror cinema.

.”The Little Shop of Horrors” (1960) – A dark comedy about a timid florist who discovers his plant can talk, but requires a gruesome diet.

.”Dementia 13″ (1963) – An early Francis Ford Coppola film with a chilling plot surrounding a family inheritance and a series of murders.

.”Vampyr” (1932) – Another early vampire movie known for its surreal visuals and nightmarish atmosphere.

.”The Bat” (1959) – A killer known as “The Bat” terrorizes occupants of a mansion in this murder mystery infused with horror elements.

.”Black Sabbath” (1963) – An anthology horror film by Mario Bava divided into three chilling tales featuring Boris Karloff as the host and star.

.”Häxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages” (1922) – A unique blend of documentary-style storytelling and supernatural fiction illustrating the history of witchcraft.

.”Phantom Ship” also known as “The Mystery of the Mary Celeste” (1935) – Based on the real-life mystery of the Mary Celeste, this film adds fictionalized horror elements to the tale.

.”White Zombie” (1932) – Featuring Bela Lugosi, this film is often cited as the first feature-length zombie flick with roots stemming from Haitian Voodoo lore rather than modern apocalyptic visions.

.”The Silent House – La Casa Muda” (2010) – While not from Hollywood’s golden age, it’s notable for being filmed in one single continuous shot, adding to its spooky realism.

In case you need an entertainment fix, these films are definitely worth your time! Whether it’s Vincent Price scaring guests or Romero’s undead revolutionizing genre tropes, each film brings its own unique flavor to the world of horror. Happy frights!
