10 Easy Ways to Prank Your Girlfriend Over the Phone

Spread the love

1. The Fake Breakup

Start the call with a serious tone, tell your girlfriend you need to talk about something important. Then proceed to tell her that you think it’s best to break up. After she reacts and gets concerned or emotional, admit that it was just a prank and reassure her of your love.

2. Impersonate a Celebrity

Choose a celebrity or character that she loves or admires, change your voice and impersonate them. Call your girlfriend and pretend to have a conversation with her as the chosen celebrity, making it sound as genuine as possible.

3. The “Other Woman” Call

Enlist the help of a female friend who has a different voice from yours and let her call your girlfriend pretending to be an obsessed girl who has been seeing you behind her back. She should describe in detail what you’ve supposedly been doing together.

4. The Jeopardy Quiz

Call your girlfriend and tell her she’s been randomly selected to participate in an impromptu game of Jeopardy over the phone. Be quick to cut her off if she tries to answer, telling her she didn’t phrase it as a question. Rack up as many bogus points as possible before revealing that it was all just an elaborate prank.

5. The Surprise Gift

Tell your girlfriend you have sent her an amazing surprise gift but make sure it’s something ridiculously huge, like a life-sized teddy bear; then ask if she sees it outside her door or window (make sure it’s not actually there). The longer she spends looking for the imaginary gift, the better!

6. The Creepy Whisperer

While on the phone with your girlfriend, whisper creepy compliments or phrases in between sentences without addressing them. Pretend like nothing happened when she asks about it and see how long it takes for her to catch on.

7. Pretend to Be Her Favorite Takeout Place

Call your girlfriend from an unknown number pretending to be her favorite takeout place. Tell her that she has won a lifetime supply of food from them, only to follow up with “just kidding” once she starts getting excited.

8. The Missed Call

Text your girlfriend saying you missed a call from her when you know she hasn’t called. She will probably be confused and insist that she didn’t call you. Continue the prank by adamantly claiming that it must have been her who called.

9. The Stuck in Traffic Prank

Call your girlfriend while pretending to be stuck in traffic, complete with honking horns and road noise in the background. Ramp up the drama by complaining about how late you’ll be for your date or engagement with her before revealing it was all staged as a prank.

10. The Accidental Text

Send your girlfriend a text intended for someone else, eliciting a confused response. This could be something like, “I bought $1000 worth of socks today!” See how she reacts before letting her in on the prank.
Remember, pranks should be light-hearted and fun, never hurtful or mean-spirited. Enjoy pranking your girlfriend over the phone and share a good laugh together afterward!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
