Here are the top 4 fixes for keyboard typing wrong characters in Windows 11:

1.Check your keyboard layout: Make sure that you have selected the correct keyboard layout in Windows 11. To do this, open the Settings app, go to Time & Language, click on Language, and check if the correct language and keyboard layout are selected.

2.Update keyboard drivers: Outdated or incompatible keyboard drivers can cause issues with typing wrong characters. To update your keyboard drivers, open the Device Manager, expand the Keyboards category, right-click on your keyboard device, and select Update driver.

3.Disable or modify language settings: Windows 11 supports multiple languages and allows you to switch between them. Sometimes, switching to a different language accidentally can result in typing wrong characters. To fix this, open the Settings app, go to Time & Language, click on Language, and remove any unnecessary languages or re-arrange them in the preferred order.

4.Perform a clean boot: In some cases, third-party software or services running in the background can interfere with keyboard input. Performing a clean boot helps to identify if any such software is causing the issue. To perform a clean boot, type “msconfig” in the Run dialog, go to the Services tab, check the “Hide all Microsoft services” box, and click Disable all. Then, go to the Startup tab and click on Open Task Manager. Disable any unnecessary startup programs and restart your computer.

By following these steps, you should be able to fix the issue of keyboard typing wrong characters in Windows 11.
