Keyboard shortcuts are integral to productivity and ease of navigation, particularly when using web browsers like Google Chrome. However, users might encounter issues where these shortcuts stop functioning, especially after upgrading to Windows 11. Here are the top ten fixes you can try if your Google Chrome keyboard shortcuts aren’t working.

1. Restart Your Computer: Begin with the simplest approach—restarting your computer. Often, this can clear up any temporary issues causing the shortcuts to fail.

2. Update Google Chrome: Make sure your browser is up-to-date. Open Chrome, click on the three dots in the top-right corner, go to ‘Help’, then select ‘About Google Chrome’. If there’s an update available, install it.

3. Check Keyboard Functionality: Test if the keys work outside of Chrome to rule out any hardware issues with your keyboard.

4. Run Chrome as Administrator: Right-click on the Chrome shortcut and select ‘Run as administrator’. Elevated permissions can sometimes resolve shortcut issues.

5. Disable Extensions: Some extensions may interfere with keyboard shortcuts. Go to ‘chrome://extensions/’ and disable each extension one by one to find the culprit.

6. Reset Browser Settings: In Chrome settings, scroll down to ‘Advanced’, then click on ‘Reset settings to their original defaults’ and confirm by clicking ‘Reset settings’.

7. Clear Cache and Cookies: Over time, cache and cookies could cause issues within your browser. Clear them by going to ‘Settings’, click on ‘Privacy and security’, then ‘Clear browsing data’.

8. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that Windows 11 is up to date as updates can include fixes for compatibility issues with applications like Chrome.

9. Edit Shortcut Path: Right-click on your Chrome shortcut, go to ‘Properties’, append ‘–disable-extensions’ at the end of Target field, then apply changes. This starts Chrome without extensions which may solve the shortcut issue.

10. Create a New User Profile: On Chrome’s main menu, go to ‘Settings’, under Users click ‘Add’, then log in as a new user and check if shortcuts work on this new profile.

Try these fixes one by one until your Google Chrome keyboard shortcuts start working again on Windows 11. If none help, consider reinstalling Google Chrome or seeking further technical assistance as there might be more complex system-related issues at play.
