The Real Housewives of New York City Recap: Roach Motel

This week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New York City” was a rollercoaster of emotions, from the shocking discovery of a cockroach infestation to a poignant conversation about grief.

The episode kicked off with a trip to the Hamptons, where tensions were already high. Eboni K. Williams was still feeling the sting of Ramona Singer’s insensitive comments about her race, while Sonja Morgan struggled to keep her personal life separate from her professional one. But the real drama unfolded at Sonja’s house, where a horrifying revelation took center stage: roaches.

The sight of the creepy crawlies sent the ladies scrambling, with Ramona showcasing her signature blend of panic and denial. The episode took a more serious turn when Luann de Lesseps opened up about her recent struggle with grief, sharing her experience losing her mother. Her vulnerability touched the other Housewives, creating a moment of genuine empathy and understanding.

Meanwhile, Leah McSweeney continued to push boundaries with her outspoken personality, while the ever-reliable Dorinda Medley provided much-needed comic relief with her dry wit and signature one-liners.

Despite the roaches and the somber moments, the episode offered a glimpse into the complex dynamics of the group. As the season progresses, viewers are left wondering if these Housewives can overcome their differences and find common ground, or if the inevitable drama will lead to a full-on meltdown.
