Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S9 is set to hit stores on March 16, according to a recent report. The phone, which was officially announced in February 2018, is expected to come with several new features and improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S8. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at what you can expect from the Galaxy S9 and why it’s generating so much buzz.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to come with a similar design to the Galaxy S8, with a glass front and back and an aluminum frame. However, it will likely have a slightly smaller bezel and a relocated fingerprint scanner for easier access. The phone is expected to come in several colors, including black, blue, and purple.

The display of the Galaxy S9 is expected to be similar to that of the Galaxy S8 as well. It will likely have a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.

Camera

One of the most exciting features of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is its camera. The phone is rumored to come with a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 12MP primary camera and a 12MP telephoto camera. It will also likely have an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor or Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 processor (depending on region). It will likely come with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The phone will run on Android Oreo and have a 3000mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging capabilities.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is generating a lot of buzz ahead of its release on March 16. With a similar design to the Galaxy S8, but several new features and improvements, the phone is sure to be a hit with Samsung fans. The dual-camera setup on the back and powerful processor are just a few of the features that make the Galaxy S9 an exciting new addition to the Samsung lineup.
