As the gaming industry continues to grow, it comes as no surprise that social networks for gamers are popping up all over the internet. While some have a broader focus, there are sites that cater exclusively to those who love to play video games. These social networks are great places to meet fellow gamers, share game strategies, and even find new games to play. Here we take a look at some of the best social networks for gamers.

1. Twitch

Twitch is a live streaming platform that is extremely popular among gamers. Twitch allows gamers to stream their gameplay sessions to thousands of viewers. Viewers can interact with the streamer, ask questions, and chat with other viewers. Twitch has become a thriving community where gamers can share their knowledge, strategies, and opinions on a variety of games. Twitch is the go-to platform for gamers who want to stay up-to-date with the latest gaming news.

2. Steam

Steam is the largest gaming platform on the internet, and it’s a social network as well. Steam allows gamers to keep a record of their gaming progress, connect with fellow gamers, and purchase and download games. Steam has a huge online community that regularly shares information about games and reviews games. The platform also allows gamers to track their achievements, giving them a sense of accomplishment and giving them a reason to keep playing.

Discord is a chat app that was designed for gamers. The app allows gamers to chat with each other while they play games, creating an incredibly social gaming experience. GamerLink is a social networking app designed specifically for gamers. It allows gamers to connect with each other based on their interests and the games they play.
