The sight of geishas amidst centuries-old temples and gardens interspersed with cutting-edge cafes and art spaces provided a cultural tapestry that was both complex and delightful.

Norway’s Lofoten Islands emerged as an unexpected favorite for those seeking natural splendor combined with adventure.
