As we continue to spend more time at home due to the ongoing pandemic, watching television shows on Netflix has become a popular pastime. While some viewers prefer to sit back and watch a show without any interactive elements, others prefer a more immersive experience. Thankfully, Netflix now offers a variety of shows that promote interaction with the viewer. Here are some of the best interactive Netflix shows to watch right now:

1. Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

Set in the 1980s, this acclaimed science-fiction anthology series has its first interactive episode in the form of “Bandersnatch.” The story follows Stefan, a video game programmer who is tasked with creating a game based on a book called “Bandersnatch.” As the viewer, you get to make decisions on behalf of Stefan that will ultimately determine the course of the show.

2. You vs. Wild

“You vs. Wild” is an interactive survival show featuring outdoorsman Bear Grylls. Each episode sets Bear on a new adventure, such as surviving in the Amazon rainforest or navigating through the Arctic Circle. As the viewer, you get to make choices that will impact Bear’s survival strategies.

3. Carmen Sandiego: To steal or not to steal

based on the popular video game of the same name; “Carmen Sandiego” follows the adventures of the titular thief as she travels the world stealing valuable artifacts. In “To steal or not to steal,” the viewer must decide whether or not to help Carmen steal a priceless artifact.

4. Minecraft: Story Mode

“Minecraft: Story Mode” is a spin-off of the popular video game that follows the adventures of Jesse and his friends as they journey through the Minecraft world. As the viewer, you get to make choices that will impact the story and determine the outcome of each episode.

5. Captain Underpants Epic Choice-O-Rama

based on the children’s book series, “Captain Underpants Epic Choice-O-Rama” is a choose-your-own-adventure story that puts you in control of the story. The viewer gets to make choices for the main characters, George and Harold, as they attempt to save their school from an evil villain.

Interactive Netflix shows provide a unique and engaging experience for viewers, allowing them to feel more involved in the story. With a variety of options available, there is something for everyone to enjoy. So, grab some snacks, get cozy on the couch, and dive into the world of interactive television.
