Looking to pump up your breakfast with a high-protein start without the use of protein powders? Overnight oats are a fantastic way to get your morning nutrition, and they can be easily adjusted to increase the protein content through whole foods. Here’s how to make the best high-protein overnight oats utilizing natural ingredients.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup rolled oats

– 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

– 2/3 cup milk of choice (almond, soy, cow’s, etc. – higher protein options are best)

– 1 tablespoon chia seeds

– 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

– 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)

– 1/4 cup fresh berries or diced fruit

– Optional sweetener: honey or maple syrup to taste

– Optional toppings: a sprinkle of cinnamon, cocoa nibs, or coconut flakes

Instructions:

1.In a mason jar or bowl, mix together the rolled oats and Greek yogurt.

2.Pour in the milk and stir until all ingredients are fully combined.

3.Add in the chia seeds and hemp seeds; these not only provide a great texture and extra fiber but also pack in protein.

4.Gently fold in your choice of nuts for that satisfying crunch and protein boost.

5.If you’re adding sweetener, mix it into the concoction according to your preference.

6.Place your mix in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 6 hours) so that the oats can soak up all the flavors and liquid.

7.In the morning, give the overnight oats a good stir.

8.Top with fresh berries or diced fruit for natural sweetness and added vitamins.

9.For extra flavor and texture, add any additional optional toppings you like.

These overnight oats will be not only delicious but also satiating thanks to their high-protein content from the Greek yogurt, nuts, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. This combination ensures that you’re getting a variety of proteins along with other nutrients.

This easy-to-make breakfast can be prepared in batches for convenience throughout the week. Customize with your favorite fruits and toppings to create different flavors every day! Enjoy this nutritious, no-cook meal that will help power you through your morning activities.
