The best hatching tips for Pokemon Go

Spread the love

As a dedicated Pokémon Go player, you know the excitement of hatching eggs and discovering new and powerful Pokémon to add to your collection. But did you know that there are ways to increase your chances of hatching those rare and elusive creatures? In this article, we’ll explore some of the best hatching tips for Pokémon Go. Let’s dive in!

1. Choose the right incubator

Basic incubators have a limited number of uses but are great for hatching common 2km eggs. Save your more durable or specialized incubators for the rare 5km and 10km eggs.

2. Stack your distance

While walking, biking, or jogging is an excellent way to hatch eggs quickly, don’t forget that you can also stack distance by using Adventure Sync. This feature tracks your steps even when the app is closed or in the background, making it perfect for activities like treadmill workouts.

3. Keep an eye on events

Remember to check the in-game news section regularly for updates about special events. During these events, Niantic often reduces egg hatch distance or increases the likelihood of hatching specific types of Pokémon.

4. Always have eggs incubating

To maximize your hatching potential, ensure that you always have at least one egg incubating. Check back after every stop to ensure you collect new eggs and keep them hatching consistently.

5. Use Lucky Eggs for bonus XP

Want to gain additional experience points during your hatching spree? Activate a Lucky Egg before starting an extended walk or run, which will double the experience earned during its 30-minute duration.

6. Focus on egg-themed research tasks

Some research tasks offer rewards like Super Incubators or additional egg-hatching Candies – completing them can give you more chances for success!

7. Invest in Pokémon storage upgrades

The more storage space you have available, the more eggs you can hold at once, increasing your chances of finding a rare Pokémon when hatching multiple eggs.

8. Team up

Some events or bonuses in Pokémon Go boost egg hatching rates or rewards when playing with friends. Keep an eye out for these opportunities and team up with others to reap the benefits.

9. Time your distance

Eggs hatch based on the distance you have traveled, so capitalize on real-life walking or biking commutes by planning your game activities accordingly.

10. Stay alert for egg hatching surprises

There’s always a chance that Niantic will introduce new Pokémon to the game via eggs, so keep watch for updates and new additions to your Pokédex!

By utilizing these strategies and staying dedicated to your egg-hatching endeavors, you’ll increase the odds of obtaining rare and highly sought-after Pokémon in Pokémon Go. Happy hatching, and may the Poké-luck be in your favor!
