While this ranking is speculative and subject to change when Starfield actually launches and we can experience these planets first-hand, it’s never too early to start planning where you’ll plant your flag in this exciting new universe.

1.Terra Nova – Topping our list is Terra Nova, the jewel in Starfield’s crown. A true Earth-like paradise with a perfect balance of biomes and climate conditions suitable for large-scale human habitation; an outpost on Terra Nova would not only be comfortable but also prestigious, offering unparalleled quality of life and potential for growth.

2.Crimson Sands – As one of the most visually arresting planets with vast deserts rich in energy-producing minerals, Crimson Sands is not only a haven for resource gatherers but also for scientists looking to study its unique ecology. Outposts here would excel in research and development.

3.Nova Tundra – This frosty planet ranks third mainly because of its untapped mineral wealth, which adventurers keen on industrial expansion will find irresistible. Establishing a mining colony here could lead to a booming economy, albeit with investments in heating and infrastructure.

4.Theta III – A step up in terms of strategic importance due to its proximity to various trade routes, Theta III offers both economic opportunities and potential geopolitical leverage. An outpost here would be bustling and vibrant.

5.Azura Prime – Known for its lush biomes and relative safety from cosmic threats, Azura Prime is the fifth-best candidate for building outposts. Its abundant resources allow for self-sustaining settlements that can thrive with minimal intervention.

As players eagerly anticipate the release of Starfield, discussions are already brewing about the best planets to establish outposts on in this sprawling space epic.
