David, once a cog in the corporate machine, is now a testament to the power of minimalism and a yearning for a simpler life. He traded the hustle of the city, the soul-crushing commute, and the ever-present pressure for a tiny house in the woods, nestled amidst the quiet symphony of nature. And he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Living on $750 a month might sound impossible in today’s world, but David’s story is a testament to how intentional living can drastically reduce expenses. His tiny home, a meticulously designed 100 square-foot haven, houses everything he needs and nothing more. Gone are the days of unnecessary possessions and the overwhelming weight of materialism. He grows his own food, collects rainwater, and uses solar power to fuel his basic needs.

This isn’t to say his life is a complete escape from the modern world. David maintains a part-time freelance writing career, allowing him to work remotely and contribute to the community. He finds joy in the simple pleasures of life – spending his days hiking, exploring, and connecting with the natural world.

His journey is a powerful reminder that happiness isn’t tied to material possessions or a high-paying job. It’s found in the quiet moments, the deep connection with nature, and the freedom to live on your own terms. David’s story invites us to question our own priorities and consider the possibility of a life less ordinary, a life defined not by the money in our pockets, but by the richness of our experiences. It’s a call to embrace the simple life and rediscover the joys of living in harmony with the earth.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
